What Is AccessPath?

AccessPath is a guided self-assessment that helps employers measure how closely their workplace practices align with employment accessibility standards. It covers five areas of the employment lifecycle and produces an overall AccessPath score.

Does This Assessment Cover the Built Environment?

This assessment focuses on employment. It touches on the importance of communicating details about a physical space, but it does not ask questions about your physical environment. If you're looking for an assessment or support for an accessible built environment, we recommend that you check out the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification.

Who Can Use AccessPath?

AccessPath is available to users registered as employers on Untapped Talent. Job seeker accounts do not have access to the assessment. If you need help with your account type, contact us for support.

Can We Have Multiple People at Our Company Complete AccessPath?

Yes, a company can purchase a group package to AccessPath. In addition to the individual reports each user receives, we will provide a report that combines everyone's results and highlights any variances across the team. This helps you see where there may be varied understandings of the accessibility approach at your company. You may also purchase the premium report with recommended resources and next steps for your company. Contact us to discuss either of these options.

How Long Does the Assessment Take?

Most employers complete the five assessments in 30 to 60 minutes. Your progress is saved automatically, so you can finish in more than one session.

What Happens After I Complete the Assessments?

You will see your overall AccessPath score and a breakdown for each assessment and section. You can then download a summary report or purchase a premium report with recommended next steps and an expert walkthrough.

What Is Included in the Premium Report?

The premium report includes recommended next steps ranked by impact, practical resources matched to your lowest-scoring sections, a shareable summary for leadership and boards, and a personal walkthrough from one of our accessibility experts.
